Taking its spin on the classic backpack, fashion brand Silas composed a simple striped motif as the basis for its collaboration with Eastpak. The bag boasts a Light Blue and Black colorway with Silas branded zipper pulls, a traditional Eastpak logo, and embossed suede bottom.

Billionaire Boys Club / Ice Cream 2009 October & November New Releases

Adding to their extensive garment releases for October, BBC/Ice Cream dropped a new selection of items over the weekend from each respective brand’s Fall/Winter Collection. Included in this latest batch is a Heart & Mind full-zip hoody with matching New Era cap (limited to the brand’s NYC, Tokyo, and ZOZO stores), a “Soft Serve” tee and crewneck, and digi camo lineup consisting of a jacket, tote, and chukka sneakers.

6876 X Regent Belts “R6″ Collection

Kenneth Mackenzie’s 6876 is a label that’s put quality materials and production over transient fashion scenes since its inception in the mid-90s, way before it became a fashion scene to do so.  Now they are teaming up with Regent Belts, a brand with similar ethics towards tradition, design and craftmanship, to create the “R6″ collection a range of quality leather accessories made in Northampton, England.

uniform experiment x Nike for SOPH. 10th Anniversary Special Force Boots & Briefcase

Based off the original SFB design shown earlier in the year, uniform experiment worked with Nike on a special edition of the shoe, created in conjunction with SOPH.’s 10th Anniversary Collection. Originally adopted for use overseas, the Special Force Boot is a design by Nike created specifically for the American troops, featuring a wide array of top performance technologies, including the use of a Kevlar sheath, premium uppers and Natural Motion Cushioning units. Offered in a solid black rendition, the release ties in with the nature of uniform experiment’s designs and philosophy. A special briefcase, featuring a matching design scheme, was also created to accompany the boots. Both products will launch on November 2nd at Istean Mens and Soph. retail locations.

Givenchy 2009 Fall/Winter Bag Collection

In a dark and largely muted palette, Givenchy’s seasonal bag collection is presented here. Three different styles are marked by some largely understated styles with the predominate use of black. A back pack and two travel bag styles utilize materials such as leather and PVC, all made in Italy. Available now at Aloha Rag.

Undercover Fall/Winter 2009 Collection

Jun Takahashi’s Undercover label has released more outerwear and accessories from their Fall/Winter 2009 collection.  Featuring a down vest and jacket, gloves, backpack and some  velcro strap boots that nicely mix materials and textures, the collection offers an interesting clash of styles that sits somewhere between other contemporary Japanese labels and modernist western designers like Rik Owens and Raf Simons.

SENSE | The Black Sense Market Collection

SENSE magazine provide us with a more in-depth look at the collection which they’ve put together to celebrate the publication’s 9 year anniversary. The collection titled “The Black Sense Market” includes a range of limited release  items from Tenderloin, Yves Saint Laurent, Foot The Coacher, Bedwin, Sasquatch Fabrix, mastermind JAPAN, visvim, and Mountain Research.  With each label contributing to the collection some of their hallmark pieces in a black colourway. An outstandingly luxurious collection which I’m sure many can look forward to. Available at  The Contemporary Fix from the 24th of October till the 31st.
